Realme Narzo 80 Series: A New Era Begins
Realme India is on the brink of unveiling the much-anticipated Narzo 80 series, with the spotlight firmly on the Narzo 80 Pro. This device is set to make waves as the first in its segment to feature the cutting-edge Dimensity 7400 chipset. Its an exciting prospect, especially since no other phone has yet embraced this innovative chip, although whispers of upcoming models are already circulating.
Realme proudly claims that the Dimensity 7400 can achieve an impressive AnTuTu score exceeding 780K. This chipset shares its foundation with the Dimensity 7300, suggesting that it will perform comparably to devices utilizing that technology. In contrast, the previous model, the Realme Narzo 70 Pro, relied on the older Dimensity 7050.
The new chipset boasts enhanced capabilities, featuring four powerful Cortex-A78 cores instead of just two, along with a more advanced GPU – the Mali-G615 MC2, which outshines its predecessor, the Mali-G68 MC4. The G615 architecture represents a significant leap forward, being a couple of generations ahead of the G68. Additionally, the Dimensity 7400 is manufactured on a more modern 4nm process, compared to the 6nm of its predecessor, both crafted by TSMC.
The launch of the Realme Narzo 80 Pro is set to take place on Amazon India, which has already prepared a landing page for the event. However, this page currently highlights only the new chipset, the remarkable AnTuTu score, and the gaming and multitasking prowess of the forthcoming device.
In a twist of fate, earlier this month, rumors surfaced regarding the Narzo 80x, which is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 6400. This model seems to be a variant of the Realme P3x. However, it remains unclear whether the Narzo 80 Pro is a derivative of any of the P3 models, as none of them utilize the Dimensity 7400.
